Do you intend to mix up drives of different sizes? Or swap bigger size hdd in the future? If yes to either, I suggest you use SHR.

Currently i am using 2TB x 4 .. i think i will expand 1 by 1 .. craps.. dunno how long will it take to copy down my 1TB files. Btw, the indexing on Video Station will be gone also?

How can i change to SHR? Just delete and create new Volume or reset all to factory?

Yep that's about it. Just copy and paste into your PC, won't take that long one lah. Want to do it, do it one time swee swee.

Can someone help me here? I tried to write a Synology noob guide, but then I realize there is so much shiat on a Synology NAS that one has to cover. Anyone got any idea what I should try to cover with the guide? Nothing to overwhelm a Synology noob?

Dunno why the plex i setup cannot work with subtitle. But the DS Video work perfectly.

Or maybe come out a guide on how to setup and configure plex on Synology?
