Looks good. I do think that you may run into some problems at the start due to immature driver. But these should go away mostly after sometime.

So true! There was a 19.2.1 driver that was released just before this card was officially released (I figured or assumed it had to have VII support), I tried it and it resulted in either 'Checking for new driver' loop, or 'Unknown AMD hardware' error message. When I mentioned my problem, some guys suggested that I use a Radeon VII only driver that was at the AMD site. Now I feel so noob, that's what happens when I assume too much....

Without taking sides between Nvidia and AMD, my observation and experience is that AMD graphic drivers tend to be quite unpolished when it comes to a new GPU. Which is why I would say that you need to be ready to run into driver issues. Seems like the "fine wine" concept is also baked into their driver department.

Yep, 'Fine Wine' seems to be AMD's rallying call. BTW, any idea how to get in touch with Ban Leong? I just realized I didn't get my game codes....

LOL! Quite obvious to you guys I'm one of the hardcore AMD fanboy here. So far, loving this card, it's a fair bit faster than a single VEGA 64, but my 2x VEGA 64 spanks it silly though.

Gimme a little time, I'm waiting for GPUZ to be updated with Radeon VII support, best way for me to monitor highest and idle temps for both GPU and HBM.

But 2x Vega 64 consumes crazy amount of power as compared to a single card.

Scare what. Buy high wattage Psu is to use one, not for display purposes.

Not worried as my 2x VEGA 64's are in the rig with the Seasonic X-1250.....would have preferred the Enermax Max Revo 1500W PSU, but too lazy to swap out the PSU's. Plus, now on Sembcorp so I save about 30% of electrical charges compared to SP.

Ran Wattman in background, changed fan setting back to default as I want you to know the temp at default setting. Played Strange Brigade @3440x1440, max ingame setting (room aircon set at 25C):
Idle GPU and junction temps were 30C and 32C respectively, and max ingame was 79C, Junction temp was a whopping 106C....will test with custom fan setting and see where I land.
