24" vs 27" 1080p

I'm deciding which should best buy for me on this 2 option, I'm listing down below common feature and diff.

The purpose is for General - Gaming and Productivity (less since this is for home usage)

Common Features:
  • Brand: same
  • Panel: VA
  • Response Time: 1ms
  • FreeSync
  • Native Resolution: Full HD (1080p) 1920 x 1080

27" Diff:
  • Refresh Rate: 165hz
  • Additional Ports: USB-C Alt DP
  • Type: Flat
  • Price: 50 SGD more expensive

24" Diff
  • Refresh Rate: 144 Hz
  • Type: Curved
  • Price: 50 SGD cheaper

Any thought? is it worth it paying extra 50sgd for this additional feature? also worried with pixel thingy when selecting 27" since this is still 1080p

27" 1080p if sitting far, 24" 1080p if sitting near.

Screw VA. It says 165Hz, but got any reviews showing the actual response time.

27" 1080p the text will be blurry, straining to my eyes, from my personal experience i wont recommend it.

24 inch but curved doesnt make sense. If ultra wide and curve makes sense

27inch but 1080p not worth.

If you're sticking to 1080p, I would suggest to look for 24" flat screen but with ips panel and 144hz and above.

Other than prism, I know Acer predator series and lg ultragear series got such monitor. But they cost around $800 or $900.

Bought LG24GL600F-B recently and very happy with the monitor. 1ms response time with 144hz and great out of the box colours.

Was deciding between this monitor and the Prism X240 and end up I chose LG. Satisfied and no regrets!

Will never consider Prism unless they change their warranty to onsite.
