Ideal is 27, flat panel
Anything smaller may impact office work
Anything bigger, dont think i will be able to take it all in when gaming

ASUS has it. Question is whether can afford it, worth to buy or have the gpu to fully take advantage of it?

for 27 inch i recommend going for 2k 144hz resolutions since your game play is less competitive.

Are you currently on a 27" 4k monitor? If so, going to 1440p on the same screen size will be a noticeable downgrade in pixel sharpness, at the same viewing distance

Maybe stick to 4k 60hz better but you playing fps would make me suggest you to get 1440p 144hz instead. Unless your fps is really casual and not played often

I tried 27" and 32" 1440p monitors before. 27" 1440p makes the text look quite small, had to squint my eyes to see it at 100% font size. Gaming is still ok for 27".

For 32" i sit at about 80-100cm away and text is just nice. Gaming may be a bit hard to look around the HUD but still ok as long as you lean back.

Monitors with HDMI 2.1 will only be out early 2021.. actually now is not a good time to get a monitor unless you have no plans to go beyond 1440.

Same ah. Actually I find it hard to see 34inch 1440p unless I go up to 125% text size. 60cm desk and I lean back usually

60cm desk and you find it hard to see 34" 1440p text at 10%? Your eyes really need to be checked sia. lol

My table is 80cm deep, with about 5cm away from wall due to Prism monitor arm. With the monitor arm push back towards the wall as much as possible, it is about 10cm away from the wall including monitor thickness.

There is still a distance from my eyes to the edge of table. And i can still see text quite clearly at 100% size leh...
