5600xt vs 1660ti

any expert can recommend which to get, my zotac gtx 970 pi chia liao, lasted me quite long several years. now using radeon 7850 surprisingly the drivers dont know or the card make the graphics look better i feel. only play dota 2 and csgo, occasionally some other steam games, will play some fps game like bf or cod. will play at 1080p. leaning towards the 5600xt as dont know the driver or what seem to make my dota 2 look better, also the amd software very cool to use.. but abit pricer than 1660ti but is ok since buying for long run. any users for both to commend? :o

would recommend getting the 1660 super instead, u dont lose a lot of performance and u save a lot too (about $100 if the prices are still the same last i checked).

however if u are looking for raw performance and not scared of bios flashing u could get the 5600xt and flash 5700 bios for even more performance :s22:

have read that its risky to flash 5700 bios for 5600xt cuz of the 6gb vs 8gb vram thing, nvm went to see yea 1660 super much value vs 1660 ti considering the price performance

you can consider getting a used GTX 1060 or 1070 from this guy to tong for a while until Ampere comes out, should be able to resell at the same price :D

5600XT is faster than a GTX 1660Ti for sure since it is supposed to compete with RTX 2060. But I think at the end of the day, it depends on the price of the 5600XT vs GTX 1660 Ti. I do agree between GTX 1660 Ti vs non Ti Super, I rather you go for the non Ti Super version.

1660 Super biggest bang for buck

kundalini 02-08-2020 09:57 PM

nvm i got the sapphire 5660 xt liao just, all the shop close manage to get from abnn shop

Go for whatever plays your game smooth enough

No such thing as bang for buck if saving $100 from your $1000 system drops the framerate from 60 to 54

Nice. I had the Sapphire Pulse 5500XT and the build quality was good for the price.

Don't forget to claim your games.

5600xt got games meh..anyway the driver like cause stuttering in my dota 2 & opening programs desktop icons will cause my screen to flicker.. i off the radeon overlay to fix it..seems like nvidia driver still better..but overall i prefer the graphics than to nvidia, radeon graphics got the darker smoother feeling+

got this becuz seen on youtube video the review 5600xt the fps much more on battlefield fps 110 vs 70 on 1660 super

Previously on my work com using amd card 4830 or some low end type and it spoilt I change to a Nvidia card and I also notice the color is not as nice as before no matter how I change the setting. No gaming though just on the desktop, excel, YouTube I can feel the difference. Natural yet vibrant for amd card iirc.
