Why would be 2 reasons but you are focusing on only one which are the free coupons (obviously and valid)

However, the 2nd reason for consumers to be depositing funds into the wallet would be that Lazada has built up a strong reputation to sway the decision. Every site has issues but they have provided a rather consistent customer experience for the last 4 years?

No one or at least me is worried about lazada running away ala Ofo / Obike.
But you add on this system bug, the way they respond to expired coupons due to internal issues, their change in customer service process, all this builds up to a shitshow.

Cash is king. Regardless of whether Lazada will close down or not, topping up lazada wallet means tying your cash up. If that is not a drawback, then y are you concerned that Lazada is refunding back to wallet?

I am simply stating that the way Lazada handles refunds for payments from Lazada wallet, which is to refund back to wallet, is logical. Aka, you normally expect refunds to be back to the original mode of payment. So imo, the issue here is whether it is worthwhile using wallet rather than the refund method.

They said wait for refund into Wallet. Order details also not here nor there. Order put cancellation initiated but has been more than a day. So cancellation not completed? Dunno wtf is wrong with their system.

Some of us are using Lazada Wallet because we got coupon credits from Group Play game.
Lazada just like Qoo10 will want to entice you to lock money in with them. You need to weigh the pros and cons before parking money there. Based on my experience, I rather give up the few bucks savings to give myself the option of getting my cash back, particularly for high value purchase.

Any recommendation for power strip extension?

Tried to buy the one with universal socket last week, but after 1 week of use the switch broke down cannot off. Thought just leave it on but after 1 day very hot to touch (no safet mark some more) Scare it will catch fire one. End up dispose it away.

Maybe should stick to belkin brand or buy from giant when there is promotion. Although it doesn't have the universal socket.

Using a power extension without safety mark is really asking for trouble. It's not just the electrical connections, the plastic parts need to have a certain fire rating.

How we know the safety mark is for which part? Some only have safety mark for plug top nia, then some paste one safety mark on plug top and one beside socket
