My 3600 also idle around 37 with Freezer 34 duo. But what is the max temp you see on your 3600? ~75 deg C on mine with Prime95, 73 with CineR20, no throttling.
Maxes out around 68-69 degrees on p95 and cinebenchr20, non air-conditioned environment. Same temps with air-conditioning, just that the auto-oc pushes clocks higher.

Hey guys, is the temperature at 55 degree normal for idle? My processor is a 3700x.
Make sure you have installed the AMD drivers, switched Windows power plan to Ryzen Balanced and also monitor using Ryzen Master.

Hi guys, been out of the scene for a while so I have a silly question to ask.
If I upgrade my existing Ryzen 1600 to Ryzen 3600 or 3700X, do I have to upgrade my rams as well?

Currently, I'm running Ryzen 1600 with Gigabyte AB350M-Gaming 3 and Cosair DDR4-2400 16GB kit.
Just use the same set of ram after you upgrade. Since the ram can actually do some OC maybe you try first before change them.

Now able to run aida64 with 3733 ram speeds using 3200 e-die.
Turn GDM to on instead of 1T made it!
Also can set a lower 1.36v ram voltage in bios. But aida64 reading 1.368v
Can try this tweak.

Need AMD experts help.

I am interested in getting an AMD mini PC equivalent to Intel NUC due to space constraint.

Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Spent the past week and over CNY tightening the timings through trial-and-many-errors and finally found the final config at 3800@16-19-12-12-36-58-560-1T (GDM on). Can attest to the great value of the Ballistix Sport LT (2x8G 3200C16 kit) with Micron Rev E dies. (Also of the IMC on Zen 2 processors)

I don't think you'll find much that is as small as the NUC.

that's normal for zen2 CPUs below 3900 as has only single CCD.
