Sorry for the nooby question. I am looking at fuwell's pricelist and taking the basic Asus Prime mobo as an example.

i5 9500 $422
i5 9600K $516
R5 3600 $479
R5 3600X $562

I was expecting more cost savings or I am looking at this wrong?

Will be first time using the AMD Ryzen 3900X

Advise what to do..
Install AMD Driver?
Install Ryzen Master Software?
How to check temp of the CPU and what is the acceptable Idle and Load Temp?
I know the lower the temp is better but will be using default CPU fan..

So what will be the temp like using the default fan?

Thanks !

1. Yes and select the Ryzen Balanced plan
2. No need but accurate for temp monitoring
3. Too many variables. Case airflow, etc. Idle could be anywhere from 35-55 depending on your setup. Max? Below 90 is all OK.

That's the confusing part. But you should use the reading from Ryzen Master as the accurate temp since the system fans and such reacts to it.

Wah, if stock fan is ok below 90, mine is certainly not ok. I will need to check the contact between the cooler and processor tonight.

Ok, so based on the cheapest gigabyte:

i5 9500 $404
i5 9600K $488
R5 3600 $415
R5 3600X $497

Still not much cost savings based on similar tier?

Things that have arrived for me:
Meshify Mini C
Seasonic Focus GX 650W

Still waiting for my SN750 1TB, Patriot 3600mhz 2x8gb RAM. Did you see the B550 leaks from MSI? There will be a mortar max B550 chipset so I am going to wait.
