Already got my new parts in but still re-using my MasterCase Pro 5, very itchy to get a new case but the ones I want can't fit my current desk shall wait for the right case to come by.

How much you guys think I can sell for my current 1700 + GB AB350 Gaming 3 + Masterliquid 120 Lite? Does 350-400 sound reasonable or still too ex?

Things that have arrived for me:
Meshify Mini C
Seasonic Focus GX 650W

Still waiting for my SN750 1TB, Patriot 3600mhz 2x8gb RAM. Did you see the B550 leaks from MSI? There will be a mortar max B550 chipset so I am going to wait.

Omg yes. Just saw this on the msi_gaming Reddit... Haiz was thinking of the MSI MAG x570 Tomahawk but still thinking it's overkill for my 3600. I think will persevere for a b550.

Wah, if stock fan is ok below 90, mine is certainly not ok. I will need to check the contact between the cooler and processor tonight.
Well, sad to report after adjusting the water cooler, the result got worst. Contact seems good cause it squeezed most of the thermal compound out and it was quite tightly bonded. Previous run, the temps was 89 to 91 degs. After adjusting it went as high as 93.7 degs.

Gave up with the water cooler and switched the Scythe Fuma 2 in it. I have to say the cooling capability is amazing for an air cooler since it performs as well as the water cooler at idle, and well, when running Cinebench, it is still running close to 90 degs. So for all the hard work, I shaved say 4 degs off.

From my experience, a 3900 requires at least a H115i or 280mm radiator. Also, did you set the pump to extreme to the Corsair software and run the fans to max to see if it makes a difference?

Also the mounting mechanism for the Corsair for AM4 is pretty retarded using 2 pins to hold the socket. It has to be secured properly to allow full contact with the CPU.

The contact looks good since I actually had difficulties removing the cooler/ pump from the CPU. Yeah, I have to agree that the mounting mechanism needs to improve because if someone tightens one side more at the start, good chance the mounting will be poor.

For the settings on the H100i Pro, I don't see the option to adjust the pump speed in iCue, even though I recall seeing it in the earlier iCue version. When I increased the fan speed to max, it pretty much does nothing to reduce the heat.

What is the norm temp for 3900X CPU's? I have seen around that they do run toasty and that the 3950X runs cooler but curious as to what the idle and load temps should look like.
