From what I have read both are rated pretty equal BUT the NZXT Kraken X53 is typically more expensive and looks better. Another thing to note is that Corsair seem to have better customer services support (if needed).

So if ur after bling and have the extra $'s to spend then NZXT Kraken X53 else Corsair H100i

What is the norm temp for 3900X CPU's? I have seen around that they do run toasty and that the 3950X runs cooler but curious as to what the idle and load temps should look like.
im running 40 on idle and 65 while running r20, dont know if that helps

setup as shown>>>>>

ambient temp is 28

maybe diff power plan and some bugs on the software here and there???
i think theres no diff between the 2. Or jus how fast ur fan spin while idle and load, im using extreme profiles where 70 will use 100% and 60 will run at 70-80ish speed, i forgot.

I see,.. I set my fans to a custom curve as I hate the noise. So I've slowed down the fans a fair bit. I have seen from many sources that the 3950X although it has more cores actually runs cooler. I should be able to bring it down a fair bit if I run my fans on a higher RPM - will give that a go when I have time to test

I run my fans at 45% (nice and quiet) and my idle only goes above 42 on stupid hot days. I think it may have to do more with your BIOS settings.

Do share what setting you set. Since I was having some issues recently I set everything to default with the exception of turning on XMP.

I also wishing 3700x would come down in price. 3600 while a good chip, it's too choose to my 2600 to make it a worthwhile upgrade.
