you mean micron e-die

micron e-die are very capable in overclocking. better than bad binned samsung b-die.
Agreed, running 4 x 16GB 3200mhz CL16 @ 3600 mhz 16-18-18-36. Just wondering if the 32GB modules are using e-dies as well? Dreaming of an oced 4 x 32GB when the prices are down.

I believe the memory controller on the Ryzen 2600X is not that robust to support dual rank memory at high speed. I believe the fastest it can go is 2933Mhz. 16GB dimm is most likely dual rank.
Yup you are right. But my MSI B450 Pro Carbon can only run it at 2666hz. It was Micron D-die. In the end I changed back to 2x8gb single rank and it's running well with XMP2 again. I checked typhoonburner my new set Samsung B-die but I think is lower tier B-die.

This encounter taught me many things I didn't know before about rams. Also learnt motherboard higher end ones have higher bandwidth and not so fussy with rams.

I am not too sure about these though. The memory controller is built in the processor if I am not mistaken. Unless you are talking about the ability to go extreme with RAM overclocking, then perhaps the higher end boards may do better.

There is price drop for 3700X + free international shipping at Amazon.sg also.
Really quite tempted to get it instead of waiting for 4000 series.

The Ryzen 3700X has been S$421 for a while. The Ryzen 3600 looks like a better deal ATM.

Wow.
This is confusing.
Does it really include the 3700X or just mobo only?
