Sample requested:ROG Claymore
Duration of loan:2 week(or 1 week if 2 is not possible)

I'm new to Hardware zone so 😁. Is there any age restriction, I'm only 15 and built my first custom desktop using ROG Strix B450-F Gaming motherboard, I have an ROG mouse and is looking to buy the Claymore for the perfect dream setup, but I'm not so sure how the Claymore would fit my small desk so I would like to try!!

Actually, disty should have the stock already. Let me check which shops have stock for it currently. If there's a particular shop that you frequent, let me know and i'll check it for you.

edit: SRP: $1249. Available at Bizgram, Cybermind, Infinity Computer, VideoPro

actually, when is this board coming like a rough ETA or something? Been waiting for quite a while

Great initiative!

Roy has brought up my worries as well.

I would like to experience ASUS Motherboards and their UEFI but i don't have extra PC to test... And I'm not going to risk tearing down my only system... Plus too lazy to teardown/assemble twice in a week. Haha

Hello guys!

Having read the comments by some of the members, it's heartening to know that forum users are looking out for us as well!

So in the interest of fairness, I'm proposing a tier-ed deposit scheme for the loan system. By doing this, it adds a level of security for us and should keep users on their toes to maintain and upkeep the sample they received.

Of course, the full deposit will be fully refunded to users upon the return of sample in good and working condition.

And so.... tadah!!

So guys, check out post 2 and see if there are any products you'd like to try and hit me up!

I +1 to pdpa laws and what not cos with deposit you need a record system that ensure the confidentiality integrity and assurance of the information.

On another note, Asus headphones are something I have always wanted to try out lol

I would suggest maybe setting up a small area inside your office, open for public once or twice a week and let people walk in and try out the various products. They can be of open system so that people can try out various board, gpus and others.

With this, you ease the process of collecting information and money, which can be tricky. And you also ease the fear of people abusing the items.

Hmm. Not so easy leh. For one, my office is only open during office hours. And it's not exactly accessible for all since it's in the East side

I appreciate the suggestion though! Ty ty

I'm currently building an AMD ryzen 2700 and using Crosshair Hero Vi.

In the market for monitors and other accessories currently.

Loans may not be so simple to handle due to high liabilities. Unless you have like a room for people to tinker around and put back the items after usage. You also will need to screen users of such programs, if not any damage or loss hard to peg to anyone.

Perhaps vlogging is required during installation / usage of items?

I am also assuming these will not be commercial samples?
