Cat not included as part of the chair purchase.

Chair just after self-assembly. I would rate the ease of assembly 5/10. Assembly guide was okay but not comprehensive. A single person assembly is do-able but I recommend getting someone to assist. The seat was pretty heavy, and one person just to screw the seat with the backrest was tiring to be honest. Took about 30 minutes to fully assemble.

After some adjustment. I am still trying to figure the best position, but I think I am getting there in terms of comfort level. I am also quite amazed at the level of adjustability of this chair. Unforunately, I have a feeling that I will not get used to the mesh seat as I wear shorts at home, so my thighs are also resting on the seat. There is a certain discomfort in this area.

Side by side with my old Vhive chair. Lasted more than six years I suppose. Some significant wear and tear has occured at the front since the start of WFH, thus the decision to invest in another chair. The damage/tear at the back was an accidental brush against a dumbbell handle, but did not worsen further. The ROI for the Vhive chair was pretty good actually. It was comfortable.

https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id...u=e2jmlok554ba

bought this from taobao last year for about 670rmb. very similar to the ergotune lol.. i think almost identical except some slight design for the bottom part.

my only complain about this design is that for big size people, the seat could be bigger.

Been surfing Tmall the whole day. Some good deals on the chinese chairs over there. If interested, you guys can download app and go search Ergoup or 保友金豪 (Ergohuman) or 保友办公(Comfort global I think, parent of Ergohuman).

Legitimate chairs in the $500-$1k SGD range.

I cannot confirm. All I know is 保友金豪 is the ergohuman brand in China. Ergonor sells all the chairs you see on http://www.comfort.global/. Should be the same :s22:

Another thing is to note is that Tmall only has legit sellers/brands whereas Taobao is like a marketplace.

Feel like buying the fully loaded ergohuman premium plus elite (or dunno what) with legrest and laptop stand. This looks like LIFE. after discount should be slightly less than $1k

Googled abit, found some stuff. Not sure how accurate.

ergohuman chair是在2005年由中国台湾Ergonor联友椅业设计、研发、生产的一个款高端人体工学办公椅、电脑椅、网布椅。

This says that Ergohuman was created/developed by a company named Ergonor联友椅业 in 2005.

Seems like they must have at some point restructured their holding company to Comfort Workspace / 联友椅业, keeping the Ergonor name for some of the subsidiaries? *Shrug* Pure guesswork. Maybe someone with better chinese google-fu can dig further.

Sites:
http://www.ergonorseating.com/
http://www.ergonor.com/
http://www.comfort-seating.com.tw/
http://www.comfort.global/

They have some URLs which still retain Ergonor in the name, but shows Comfort Workspace as the logo.

You already tried their $300 enjoy and said the build quality is fantastic. Of course can't compare to a Herman Miller that is 2-3 times the price and with less functions.

I think the price is good. Even the chinese are buying (based on tmall numbers) But I'm still going for an Aeron. =]
