Guys, you know how ErgoTune has a wheel of fortune thing on their website? I think it might be misleading in that the only possible prizes are $25 off:

- 25WHEEL-LUHU
- 25WHEEL-PPVZ
- 25WHEEL-QYUZ

I looked into the code inside appsolve . io/assets/js/bundle.js?v=1601889178&shop=ergotune.myshopify.com and I see there's this enum:

Code:

                    if (
                      ((t.data = {
                        1: {
                          type: 'losing',
                          text: 'Free ErgoTune',
                          coupon: '20OFF',
                        },
                        2: {
                          type: 'coupon',
                          text: '$25 Off',
                          coupon: '25WHEEL-QYUZ',
                        },
                        3: {
                          type: 'losing',
                          text: '$140 Off',
                          coupon: '70OFF',
                        },
                        4: {
                          type: 'losing',
                          text: 'Free ErgoTune',
                          coupon: '',
                        },
                        5: { type: 'losing', text: '$80 Off', coupon: '50OFF' },
                        6: {
                          type: 'losing',
                          text: 'Free ErgoTune',
                          coupon: '',
                        },
                        7: {
                          type: 'coupon',
                          text: '$25 Off',
                          coupon: '25WHEEL-LUHU',
                        },
                        8: {
                          type: 'losing',
                          text: 'Free ErgoTune',
                          coupon: '',
                        },
                        9: {
                          type: 'losing',
                          text: '$220 Off',
                          coupon: '10OFF',
                        },
                        10: {
                          type: 'losing',
                          text: 'Free ErgoTune',
                          coupon: '',
                        },
                        11: {
                          type: 'coupon',
                          text: '$25 Off',
                          coupon: '25WHEEL-PPVZ',
                        },
                        12: { type: 'losing', text: '$180 Off', coupon: '' },
                      }),
                      qt.each(t.data, function (t, e) {
                        'coupon' === e.type && u.push(t);
                      }),
                      (e.data = u[c.X17.W10.A0(0, u.length - 1)]),
                      void 0 === e.data)
                    )
                      return;

As you can see, only type of 'coupon' is pushed to the array u.
function A0 is the one to choose the random index from array u and store it into e.data:

Code:

            (t.prototype.A0 = function (t, e) {
              return Math.floor(Math.random() * (e - t + 1) + t);
            }),

I followed the trail and in the end the e.data is used to determine the rotation of the wheel and also the text of congratulations message.

When you submit your email, the only network call is to appsolve . io/api/store-captured-email.

I might be wrong but it sure feels suspicious

Actually for game of chance involving public, need to register with police. Not sure if this falls under a "rigged" game.

pls dont tell me it is tampines courts. haha

I tried ergohuman at tradesk PTE LTD in yishun.
Larry the boss was very nice to meet customers on weekends to teach us on sitting ergonomically and letting us try the different chairs.

He has aerons and ergohuman and other chairs for comparison.
I had a very good experience interacting with him and can feel his enthusiasm in teaching ergonomic sitting even if you are not going to buy from him.

I think ergo human can be a consideration depending on budget. Tradesk was selling ergo human close to $800 which is the price of the a fully loaded used aeron. I liked the headrest on the ergo human but didn't really like the mesh that much. But comparing the mesh of ergohuman to aerons is not apple to apple.

Weekdays probably don't need an appointment. Weekends need to make appointment.

Best to just call in to make sure that Larry is in before heading down.

Im visiting Ergo Supplies tomorrow to try the Remastered Aeron and Ergohuman Elite at their place. At central area near Maxwell quite convenient... Looks like they also became official dealer for Ergohuman. Very tempting prices to get an Aeron for the missus :s12:

flamer7 12-10-2020 12:31 PM

Hey there everyone, could I have some recommendations on an office chair?

I think for me the most important feature would be the material of the chair base, because I've been sitting on one which is the cushion type, and it's so bad, cause I keep feeling the hard base of the chair as the cushion sinks (not sure if it's cause of my weight? I'm 70kg), so I think I would like a chair with a mesh material instead (no cushion below which could sink into a hard base), if there's such a thing? Or maybe my understanding is off.

I also have been reading this topic quite a bit, and I know that majority recommends the HM Aeron, but it really seems quite steep, at a 1.6-1.7k price range. Would anyone be able to recommend other chairs at maybe $1k or lower, preferably lower? I just don't know if I should fork out so much for an Aeron, especially given that the measures are starting to be loosened and more and more of us are returning to the office.

Please let me know the best recommendations you have, thank you all!

For full mesh chair the next best thing from Aeron will be Ergohuman Elite already, or if you don't mind a cushioned seat then it would be Haworth Fern. Anyway I think Ergo Supplies having 10 10 sale for Ergohuman Elite right now, seen on their website ergosupplies.sg

Thanks for the reply! May I check what you think about Ergotune Supreme and HM Sayl too? I was interested because Ergotune Supreme is a bit cheaper, and has a mesh seat too, but wanted to get your others' opinion as well.

Thanks! The top chair looks like a mesh back though. How much more is the mesh variant?
