Hi, anyone tried the brand "Surface" before? Any bad reviews?
My company is using the midback chair -> https://dsolutions.asia/surface , and it really comfortable to sit for long hours. But I plan to get the highback one to rest my head and neck. https://dsolutions.asia/seating-surf...ack-grey-frame |
Any one ordered Ergohuman from the AD in Singapore in Dec and has received update when delivery might be? When I ordered back then it was stated delivery is after mid Jan, till today there's no update.
Emails have gone unanswered too. |

On and off on this thread ... didn’t really see this get addressed .
Mesh is just a word to describe the type not exactly the material Zody is fabric type ( similar ikea Markus) HM is some plastic type So here we comes to the China sub 500 chair mesh ... And drum roll... it’s not the same My office have many chairs bought a various timing ....-and pricing point Almost all will sag but some faster and such Currently I am using a sub 200 ergo work replica mesh , not to bad but comfy and quality not close to hm. My full aeron from unwanted years ago is what I use at home , still have 3 more 2nd hand aeron at home various config |

https://i.ibb.co/wCkmDWL/20210114-105841.jpg Ordered a pair of Royale NAPA leather variant of their chairs. They uses automotive grade NAPA leather that is found in cars. Custom made it to follow the brown car leather seats. Also custom made to use NAPA leather arm rests. Only need 1 but since my study area table is like 3 metre plus, just ordered 2 to not make the place look empty. Happy with the chair. Material is smooth and comfy to sit on. I have used all sorts of chairs before, the Aeron, ErgoHuman, Ikea Alefjall full grain leather chairs etc. Reason being I gotten this is due to the fact its easier to clean. My mesh chairs collected dust easily and was a pain to clean. My other Ikea chair that is very comfy with its grain leather and plush cushioning but it didn't had a headrest thus making me tired as I work from home permanently and using them for long hours. These is easy to clean with a wipe. Was told to use automotive leather conditioner to maintain the leather. Though they definitely wont be breathable as compared to mesh, I like the fact they can recline down so I can always rest/take a nap on the chair with ease. Material wise cant complain for now since the feel of NAPA leather is similar to luxurious car seats and wont easily peel/flake like PU leather. Aesthetic wise, leather chairs surely look nicer compared to mesh and fabric too. Mainly bought it to suit my home industrial black brown theme. |
Beautiful pair of chairs !

Nice chair congrats. But maintain religiously.
In Sg weather, there's no hiding that whatever premium leather you get, it WILL Peel. By maintaining well, you can only delay the effects of peeling. A proper ergonomic mesh chair is the way to go in Singapore to avoid all the issues that will happen with leather. |

anyway since this is NAPA leather, i bought those automotive leather conditioner and will prolly apply maybe once every 2 months. I did use mesh chairs as mentioned. Those are fine and ergonomic and good for my back esp the mesh lumbar with suspension feeling. Only thing is the dust. Aesthetic wise i find that mesh in my opinion dont look good as good as leather chairs. Especially the ergohuman mesh with head rest, just dont look appealing to me as my home has the industrial theme. So basically my furnitures are the wood, brown, and black theme. |
Real leather can last 1.
Its more likely to crack than peel. My home sofa leather lasted 20+ years. |

I think real leather if too dry then might crack. Which is why advisable to use leather conditioner to moisturise it. But den singapore is humid, thus maybe dont really need to condition it since there's moisture in the air. Not too sure. |
