Yah I did compare shopee 1.7.. UW 2 and xtra 1.8.. in the end it’s just 100 bucks difference between shopee and xtra. Why not just pay 100 for local warranty.. shopee anytime the person can MIA and based on feedback on other product claiming warranty kind of mix review.

Actually. The tangible benefits from buying Xtra is the warranty by them.

Since both are identical products so buying from cold storage or ntuc doesn't make a difference. Its not like Xtra offered a more premium version of Aeron (cold storage has more atas stuff)

But then again, nobody can confirm Xtra also wont toh. + if the aeron is known to be undestructable so dont need claim also la. Its a $600 savings.

Same brand not same place make should cost different. Tiger thermal flask japan cost way more than TH or VN made
I beg to differ...

I bought my classic aeron chair for 11 years at 1.6K fully-loaded from Xtra. During these 11 years, I have changed my castors in the 7 year, change my seat foam in the 9 year and 2 weeks ago file another replacement for the posture fit.

All no questions asked if you have valid warranty.

It is worth it to get such an expensive chair from the reliable source especially for 12 yr of warranty.

But if you really do the math, caster $50, foam $50, posturefit $200. Only $300. Don't really justify the price difference.

On the warranty sticker, it is states "Made in USA".

I believed the main body, mechanism were made in US but not the wear and tear components such as the seat foam, castors, arm rest and posture fit.

Well you are correct as no guarantee what will happen in these difficult times.

I do self-collect from them as delivery fees is at $80 after the 1 year

Castors - $50? I bought those $50 dollars OEM castors which claims to be HM grade... man... they are sh!t

Well it depends on individual if the price difference is worth it or not... at least for my case, i felt it is useful when the time comes.

I informed them the foam have worn-out and send them the photo. Xtra is quite responsive on warranty claims.
