Re-organised the paragraphs so that the selection to a buy is led through a thinking process - the why first, then armed with the relevant knowledge, go for the right choice based on one's budget.

Previously, show the choices first, followed by the reasoning - to me it like putting the cart in front of the horse. Don't you think?

In addition, I try to update regularly, i.e. daily, but in case I go overseas or don't have access to internet, please be patient. :)

CARDS TO AVOID:
ATI
Entire X600, X700 series (obsolete products, beaten by 6600GT)
Entire low-range X800 series (obsolete products e.g. X800GT, X800, beaten by 7600GS)
Enitre mid-range and high-range X800 series (obsolete products, e.g. X800GTO, X800GTO2, X850pro, X850XT beaten by 7600GT)
Entire X1600 series except for the X1600pro (Golden Sample)
Entire X1600 series lar
X1800XL (overpriced, price should be around 400+ to compete with 7800GT)
X1800XT (overpriced, price should be around 500+ to compete with 7900GT)
X1900XT (overpriced, price should be around 800+ to compete with 7900GTX)
These cards avoid because of price? ATI fans got no cards to buy liao. :D
Is X1900XTX vs 7900GTX. X1900XT has no competition

So you are looking for 7600, huh? The choice is the MSI 7600GT at 329. Selling at online shop, Potterhouse. MSI is known to build very reliable cards, with 2-year warranty. The local distributer, Corbell, is very friendly and provides good support.

There is no 7600GT Express card. Extreme card yes, from Leadtek, which is by default over-clocked. 7600GT only have in PCI-E(PCI-Express) platform. The AGP one is unclear as of today.

Okay. Accept your comments on the X1900XT having no competition. For XV X1600pro (golden sample), because it beat the 6600GT, it can still cling on to the recommended list. Of course, if 7600GS's price starts to match XV X1600pro, then it makes a grand exit.

Reviews for these two cards not available. adrianlee, the 'links' man, will be on the lookout for them. As of now, the leadtek 7600GT extreme is not announced on leadtek's website, so we just have to wait.
