Damn, the life demo is real >< unlike how they demo their GPU, a stock ryzen can actually beat a 6800k on boost. Hope it stays true and that way.

95w vs 140w. Thats a lot of TDP cut down. Lets see how well they price their CPU.

i have lost updates on all this current gen cpu (im still using sandy bridge...am i?). can anyone do a quick roadmap?

Sandy bridge - number start from 2k to 3k?
Haswell - number start from 4k to 5k?
Skylake - number start from 6k?
Kaby lake - number start from 7k?

i5 = 4 cores 4 threads.
i7 = 4 cores 8 threads.

Sandy bridge = 2XXX
Ivy bridge = 3XXX
Haswell = 4XXX
Skylake = 6XXX
Kaby lake = 7XXX
