Pci vga cards i still keep as still can use on those boards with pci slot, still have those 1mb 2mb ones like s3, tseng lab, trident etc

I also sold those spoilt boards/vga cards collected over last few years to scrap metal, now price is around $2 per kilo, so 1 board around $1, 10 boards + 6 vga cards (865/915/945/nforce and 6600/7600) got paid $14
:)
its 2 mins walking distance from kaki bukit mrt, if anyone wants to sell.
Can sic contact to me too? Have a few spoilt parts :)

Its Choon Sheng hardware and trading, just besides the coffee shop at Shun Li industrial Park (kaki bukit exit A).

The price may change from time to time, highest was at early 2000 when I sold the spoilt motherboards, around $7 per kilo, lowest was at around 2014, just $1 per kilo. Now its $2 per kilo.

Just walk to the front entrance left side there is a table, someone will serve you normally, if no one there just wait at the table for a while, the guy will usually take the boards from you then weigh it at the scale besides the table, then the lady will pay you. They also can take in cdrom, casing, hardisk, wires etc, but these are cheaper, around half the price of motherboards/vga cards.

Hmm, could be tough.

I need to check on two things....
1) the list of items (which i took note in some older doc)
2) if I still have free access to the old office.

I'll update at a later date if any luck - especially for collectors like yourself ;)

Vijay any last chance for us to collect the Socket 370 stuff, for our childhood nostalgia sake?

Finally the Socket 370! :s12:

Anything before Socket7 will likely be tough for current hardware to install. eg, no USB port, keyboard were using big AT port, mouse are serial port; Board were mostly AT form factor, difficult to find those PSU; and the BIOS likely won't read more than 504MB/528MB due to CHS.

Thus I think the best hardware to re-live the old time is Socket 370(Socket7 if you love to mess with jumpers), Windows up to WFW3.11 have no issue.

Kids these won't have chance to suffer Half-life at 10 FPS on Pentium MMX 233 with software rendering because no 3D video card or AGP slot to put one. :s13:

Or experience the huge jump from Celeron 433 to a Athlon XP 1700+.

and that Pentium MMX is seriously OP compared to the Apple 2+, which cost around SGD10K at that time IIRC.

Harlow.

For those who've sent in requests above, I'll be heading back to the old office one last time later this week with other admin staff (my pass will no longer work), so I'll see if I can find some of the above and bring them back.

I'll update next week.
