Unwise move, Intel moving into the market in year 2020. That pie is going to shrink even more for Nvidia. AMD will also be affected but not as much due to its relative market share. GPU market has reach a plateau for ROI.

If Nvidia's AI or datacenter business ventures does not show major growth, it's doomed for another major correction...

At that kind of pricing, maybe they will sell well in 2021 onwards AMD will continue to lowball them in price.

Gamers buy 1 or 2 cards.

Miners buy 6-12 cards onwards if ROI is feasible.

Good ruck nbidia

Is nbidia going to launch cheaper NEW version to salvage the cock up? Any 1880, 1770, 1880ti, 1770ti news?

Even when RT goes mainstream the only card that really has the horsepower to handle RT is the 2080 and 2080ti. 2060 and 2070 are too weak the actually fully utilise Raytracing as a full feature. The 20 series is just the first series Nvidia is using to force developers to finally start using RT in their games. The 30 series onwards is where we'll see affordable GPUs being raytraceable.

And ofc on the flipside, AMD's new GPUs STILL lag behind NVIDIA's cards and dont even have Raytracing, for the same price. AMD becoming the Apple of the industry?

Crypto crash flooded the market with cheap GPUs, which made the RTX series look seriously overpriced since it cost more than its predecessors.

Also while there is performance improvements over Pascal, it is not that great to entice people to upgrade.

I bought a msi 2080 recently but now nvidia releases a new 16xxti gpu! How?? Is the 1600Ti better then the 2080?

By the way BFV and Anthem are both RTX games
