PC BSOD multiple times lately

Specs on the right >>>

So recently my computer starts to BSOD like nobody's business.

1. Play Overwatch for about one hour, assets suddenly stop loading, then black screen with cursor still visible before BSOD

2. Play GTA V for about one hour, exactly the same thing happen.

3. Updated to latest BIOS, running at XMP settings, still crash.

4. Ran MemTest64, no errors found while running but computer freeze again.

5. Computer runs perfectly fine browsing the web for the whole day.

BSOD error codes: ks.sys died, critical process died, System service exception, kernel data inpage error

I'm pretty sure it's the Crucial RAM problem, used for less than half a year but any suggestions are welcome. RMA to US fking troublesome now.

Edit: Seems like AsRock motherboard issue, will update. So out of the 3 AsRock boards I bought, all 3 have been RMAed. Excellent.

Does sound like a RAM issue. If you have a spare hard disk or partition I would do a fresh install of windows and install the 1 game you experience this the most to confirm. If it stops then its windows that’s buggered.

I had crashing loops recently on my system and reformatted and all is well now.

There is a dump file, but it's from an old BSOD from about a month ago.

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED if that helps. "ntoskrnl.exe" and "nvlddmkm.sys", so NVIDIA driver crash?

Might be related.

I will probably just start swapping out components and see how it goes...

Agreed,.. analyse and go google what you can. IF something good does come up and there is a fix or workaround then its all good.

This is something that I would consider pretty fast tho as these crashes if they happen often screw up the OS fast. When I had a few crashes within a short period the machine got into a mess where it would crash while booting and end up in a continuous loop.

Windows is a lot easier and fast to install these days so to me this is not that bad to confirm this kind of annoying issue.

Would be the first time an AsRock mobo failed on me, or the second...

Should probably stick to MSI or Gigabyte from now on.
