Have you solved this? I change the cable but still the same. By the way im using freesync with nvidia gpu
i hadn't encountered the blackout issue for about a month now, these are what i did:

-i didn't change the dp cable connecting gpu>monitor but i did shift my hdmi connection from gpu>tv to gpu>soundbar>tv
-i changed the monitor's picture quality setting>bypass to on
-i changed nvidia gsync settings from fullscreen and windowed to only fullscreen

i have no idea if any of the things i mentioned even contributed to the issue but u can give it a shot

edit: forget everything i said. the problem came back worse than ever

tagging on to this, i just bought the x340 pro, should i return? seems like previous x340 has complaints on ghosting?

X340 pro more curve and higher color gamut and higher price
is the x340 pro a good buy? am really new to this. my question in another thread. should i cancel order?

>>> hello. looking at the lzd sales, going for 659 now. am not a picky user, just someone who wants to step in the world of ultrawide screen, mostly for movies and a little gaming (just dota and some simple fps).

Also, am looking to upgrade my rig, what specs do i need to get to support this? i want to get rid of ghosting, my current set up has that and it annoys me a lot. gaming at 100hz is a bonus. budget for this is 2k desktop/laptop.

As long as it is a VA panel you will have ghosting.
X340 pro maybe has a better panel than x340?

if you cant stand any ghosting, IPS is your only choice.

i saw some guy saying this particular panel doesnt have that slow response time. any thoughts? i dont have very high requirements, as long as movies/games look smooth.

dont think you can tell the diff with response time between 6ms and 4ms, so dont lose sleep over it.

So does this mean no significant ghosting? Like fast scenes in movies are good? Overall is the monitor a good buy? 689 + free monitor arm

so the x315 is not considered ultrawide ah? Or is 1800R a different definition?

Then whats the difference between the classic and pro versions of the x340? which in ur opinion is better worth?
