Will be getting the X315 ProClassic after some consideration.

Other than the ICC profile at Prism website. Any other setting I can make to have better colour/clarify?

Default DP cable good enough or should I buy a ugreen gold plated one?

Thanks In advance

for mine under dim light condition and full black screen, i can see those blurred white spots under my naked eye and when move to view from the sides, the color turned blue and the backlight bleed was very jialat... I have asked for another replacement and they agreed.. let see hows the 3rd unit like.

My previous monitor was a dell ips has very bad backlight bleeding, the dark movie scenes look greyish, now my X340 the dark scenes look black, that is the great thing about VA panel.

Here is how my monitor looks like in a very dark room with full brightness 100, contrast 45.

The white patch at the corner is the reflection of my window curtain

As can see my monitor has very little backlight bleeding.

It actually looks black NOT blueish with my naked eyes.

Default dp cable is low quality. Mine came doa out of the box, that's how bad it is.

If you want better color, you can actually bring down to prism showroom, they can calibrate for you. Another thing is to enable gsync if you are using a Nvidia GPU (for games, not for color)

DP is digital, so it either works, or it doesn't. Don't waste money on more expensive DP cables.

My X340 classic also had backlight bleeding from day 1.
myshoes likes this.
