There's already a thread for this so maybe you can read up on thoughts there. Personally I would't go near the X315 if you're gaming because of the pixel per inch.

The resolution you can see is limited by the hardware capabilities of the monitor.

In short, yes. But there are monitors that help you super sample 4k to 1440p so it look nicer. Still, you're looking at 1440p. At a certain distant of viewing, it's not much difference than 4k.

It's a rebrand of Microboard m340clz. So u can Google for reviews.
However if I have to choose, I will get the prism+. 3yrs local warranty and no headache from shipping at this price point is no horse run.

I had a look at it at the show. Looked like a grainy TV up close. That kind of res is way too low for such a big monitor

And also not VESA compatible so you cannot buy your own stand and use anyway.

I was only judging it based on the specs but since you've seen it then it's true ah. 1080p should never go more than 24" for gaming. Maybe good for movies, Netflix and such. Good price too.

Question. Would DSR help with the PPI?

Yeah. the only one that stood out to me was the 27" one. Good res for that size but the stand was a let down.
