Ya, u must be right.. I think we can't just simply enter the details of a new cc into our acct w/o checking-out (ie. buying) an item.. that must explain why they say it as we have to set up a new Mastercard at checkout to enjoy this offer..

Anywayz just now I tried to test and see whether my that cc in question can allow me to enjoy the offer by ordering something with it but the thing is I chose by mistake a timesale item to do this cos the cso I spoke to said that in the T&C, it is stated that the offer cannot be used for buying items already on discount... wat's worse is that when I tried ordering this item, the order actually WENT THRU.. so I possibly could have wasted my first purchase with this new cc on an order that I din plan for to go thru... oh and of crse I had to cancel this order...

Its not a coupon so time/daily deal shld not apply. Its based on final payable amt after qpoints, qmoney, coupons.

Why did u checkout without seeing the discount? If same mechanism as per the 5 off 10 earlier, you would have see the discount as shared by blusky few pages back.

Just need to enter the 16 digit Mastercard numbers, the -$10 discount will be auto reflected. If no $10 discount, just click on the x to abort payment and try another Mastercard. I think the checking mechanism is not perfect, so only way to verify whether it satisfy the conditions is to try using the card.

Somehow ur qoo10's record shows a usage of mastercard or u might have accidentally used it? But in any case, have means have, dun have means dun have. Cant do anything. I tried delete and reinput also no difference.

Tried with 2 cards.

1st is a card already saved onto the qoo10 payment system but long time never used for purchase, so probably passed the 6 month threshold. Works and got $10 deduction.

2nd card is brand new and i am totally sure never used for any qoo10 purchase before. Input the details but no deduction given. So it seems like the criteria to qualify for the deduction is quite random or there are some hidden conditions. And *cough* *cough* same working card can be used on different accounts to get 1x $10 discount per acct. So yar no surprise can hit the quota so fast if there are folks utilizing the discount across numerous accounts. In before people flaming me for sharing "loophole"........

For the card you tested with, did u use it for the $5 off $10 promo? Coz i managed to use that promo twice.

Seems like they had already register the mastercard that i used for the $5/$10 promo. Sian.
