Thanks alot for Yr info... Jus submitted. And I noticed that I can't use Citibank's redmart 2 coupons which are stated in lazada's website. Said fully redeemed... 1st day of June and fully redeemed?? Previous few months, even near end of month, I still can redeem. Now really no point to use redmart. No coupons no liveup. N they suka suka change policy without prior notice.

I'll switch to fairprice.

Not transferable, I think you have better chances clearing it by helping your folks/friends/colleagues to buy stuffs in Qoo10.
Yea I understand, am looking more at ordering stuff on behalf of people and directing shipping to them. Will be willing to give a $5 discount + use an escrow service like Caroupay through Carousell if required.

Anyone using Xiaomi TV can share review? Am thinking of buying the 65” 4X Mi TV, how does it compare to jap/Korea brands?

Have been using Samsung for the past 2 TVs. And recently lines formed on tv after around 3 years.

Qcoin increase to $1.40 already

Posted from PCWX using WTS Qoo10 gift cards on Carousell
Although you need to pay sgd1.40 to buy 1 qcoin now, but over at qoo10, if you choose to pay via qcoins, its value is also sgd1.40 mah.

So a sgd140 item will cost 100 qcoins. You will also need to pay sgd140 to buy the 100 qcoins, so back to sq1.

But if you have amex, then w the current 15% off promo, you only need to pay sgd119 to buy the 100 qcoins.

Its those who have existing qcoins tat benefit as their qcoins increased in value from sgd1.39 to sgd1.40 per qcoin

They should make qcoins transferable. Then it will be fun!

Not true, if you bought the qcoin at 1.39 and now the exchange rate went up to 1.40 at the point of payment at Q10, you will need to use less qcoin. The exchange rate of buying qcoin and the exchange rate at the point of payment can be different.

Errr, tats y i mentioned :-

For those who buy their qcoins now, the increase in value from 1.39 to 1.40 does not make a diff.

Holding qcoins that you purchase with your own money is like holding a stock. Thought of buying 100-200 with amex promotion but a bit worry. Of course can compensate the fluctuation with free qcoins from daily check-in/roulette.

Those looking to buy and hold q-coins as a form of investment or speculation, better dont waste your time and money lar. Although the value is pegged to USD, qoo10 don't seem to be adjusting the value in real time according to market rates. They only adjust the value like once per month if there are any large raise or fall in the rates. Also buy only when you need to use the coins for payment. You never know when qoo10 starts shifting the goalposts and implement new rules e.g. they might suddenly stop accepting qcoins for payment on qoo10.

If buying groceries or something every month, then worth it w amex promo. Otherwise, its way inferior compared to holding stock coz of the lack of liquidity. Cannot cash out basically kills it as any form of investment. But if really can cash out also crazy. Imagine w the amex promo, its like immediate 15% profit

Actually, can they suddenly change the value of the qcoins? Eg, from pegged to usd change to peg to sgd?

Initially qcoins cannot be used for payment on qoo10 and cannot be used w coupons right? So even if they changed it back to before, we can't really do anything too.
