Hey Guys,

So AC:U came out last week and even though the min requirement kicks my current rig's ass, I went and bought the game. Guess what, my rig cannot even run the game on LOW settings.
So i guess it's time to bite the bullet and retire this rig to my dad.
Only thing I will be re-using are the HDDs.
After some research...

i5-4460 + MSI H97 Gaming 3 ~ 393 TP
Crucial 1600Mhz 2x8GB ~ 192 TP
Samsung 250GB 840 Evo ~ 148.5 Lazada (Mastercard Monday)
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 970 4GB Dual Fan ~ 459 Lazada (Mastercard Monday)
Superflower HX600M Gold ~ 98.1 Lazada (Mastercard Monday)
OEM DVD-Drive ~ 22
Win 8.1 ~ 138 PCT (cuz TP never put price)
Sub-Total 1450.6

Please help see if the above can run AC:U at Ultra High on 1080p anot.
I also need some reco for casing, able to fit at least 5x 3.5" HDD, and a silent CPU cooler.

Budget $1.5k (max 1.6k)
(I will be fixing the com myself, so I'm fine with Tradepac)

Thanks in advance

No point buying AC unity to play on PC. Total disaster game.

Might as well play on consoles which is so much better.

Ubisoft keeps on digging bro. Never gonna be good on PC ever again.

Not really. There are also some complaints about graphical glitches and frame rate issues on the X-Box One and the PS4 as well.

hmm.. since you bought it le can just wait for new patches to be released to further optimise the game. my 290 can't run it well either. And tbh i think your rig should be good to go for another 1.5 years with settings around low~mid

Thats graphical issues on consoles.

Go ahead play the pc version. There is tons of crap on pc.

No way to manage save files, there is no menus to do anything, this is a direct port from console, rubbish requirements and produces sub par graphics. 30fps locked. What is all this rubbish.

At least playing on concole im assured that it will play. Nvm about graphic glitches. At least i know i can manage save files, dont require high horsepower gpu.

No thanks. If there is no way to force the game to run at something like 800X600, my 750Ti is going to melt from playing this game. :s22::s13:

Slight update.
Just downloaded beta drivers frm AMD. nw low settings can barely manage 30 fps. Lol

Will my cpu bottleneck the 970? I think the game quite cpu intensive also, quite of the number of NPCs to load.
