Recommendations for 1440p monitor?

Hello guys, I'm building my first pc, and looking to find a 27" 1440p monitor with preferably >=100hz refresh rate. (not really looking for 144hz since my build probably wont be able to reach the cap anyway) My budget is $500-$600. Would prefer if the monitor is VESA supported so that I can mount it on my desk!

Actually have a few monitors in mind but not really sure if they are good:
- PRISM+ F270 PRO
- Acer Nitro VG271U
- Dell U2719DGF

Sorry in advance for the noob question, and advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I didn't look into Dell when I was looking for my monitor but I was comparing both prism and Acer which is the same as what u had.

I saw under their tech, Dell refresh rate is only up till 60hz if I'm not mistaken. Acer seems to be better as it's 144hz and 1 Ms. Further to that it's IPS while prism was TN. Ipn is better than TN now. Now if u buy the Acer from qoo10, u can minus 30+50 voucher from 636 current promo price. I just order the Acer and waiting to see really gd or not.

Another point, Dell doesn't seem to state to support freesync while Acer did mention. Overral I find acert the best with qhd, 144hz, 2k screen, 1ms, IPS and freesync

Not only u can minus 30+50, there's also MasterCard promo where u can get additional 20 dollars off. But there's some issue and other ppl use virtual mastercard to get the promo. U got to read through the thread below

Dell U2719D isn't really a gaming monitor, more for graphic works + light gaming. It's the standard 60Hz 1440p but has better display colours.

Yeah the Acer model seems to be the best bet. I'm only holding back because its kind of difficult to find reviews on the model..

Ahhh but is TN panel, would lose to IPS panel although it has gsync, I think freesync shd be sufficient.

Do IPS panels actually look that much better than TN panels? Wondering if its worth the extra $150 over the PRISM haha

TN panels, their color will be looked washout compared to IPS, you can google in youtube to see IPS vs TN panels. TN also have jia lat backlight bleed compare to IPS

and i also heard that PRISM monitors are from samsung or some branded where the QC of the monitor failed, so they sell to PRISM, and in order to exchange, must have minimum 5 dead pixels for prism monitors. that's why cheaper

for brightness, acer can go up to 350 compare to prism 280. there's build in speakers as well.

it's up to you, if u really budget can go for prism

I want to purchase another monitor due to current display becoming weird and aging.

Found Dell U2419HC for size matter is much better but resolution is much higher with Full HD (1920x1080) compared with current setting screen resolution 1680x1050.

As I have no intention to change my video card ATI4860, any advise can it still able to display properly if I change it ?

I see.. That's pretty shocking to hear for aftershock..

Am actually leaning towards the Acer model now, considering it ticks alot of boxes on my list. (also a plus that their warranty probably handles better than aftershock's) Do you know if this monitor can support adaptive sync? (for the RTX 2060)

Acer website got state it is integrated with AMD Freesync.

https://store.acer.com/en-sg/nitro-vg271u-p/

Personally I like this model's spec and price balance vs the other 2.
