A little off topic, but a headsup for VEGA GPU users, there's good news! Download Adrenalin 19.9.3 and install, it introduces RIS (Radeon Image Sharpening) to VEGA GPU's!
pretty pointless for me after reading patch notes.

not sure wanna update anot.

Anyone getting FPS dips(40-50 FPS) due to low boost clocks in game? I have a 5700XT Red Devil on 19.10.1 driver. Games i play: POE and Destiny 2.

I got a 2 monitor set up: 1440p, 144hz & 1080p 144hz

I turned off Enhanced sync, clean install windows and drivers but still experience same issues .

Specs:
Mobo: MSI B450M Mortar Titanium - latest BIOS
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 3200mhz
CPU: 3700X

Seems like powercolour red dragon, sapphire pulse, gigabyte gaming oc and xfx thicc are the best budget oriented Rx 5700 xt.

Although for local context, I guess it's between sapphire pulse and powercolour red dragon. The gigabyte card at that price might as well go for the red devil.

All these are good cards so it boils down to personal preference e.g. aesthetics. I like the Red Devil.

For sure. But for those who wants the best price to performance (aka cheapest) aib cards, it boils down to the 2 I mentioned....at least locally.

The gigabyte card is freaking 100 bucks cheaper from Newegg/Amazon after gst and shipping.....lol

in other words, go for the Red Devil

between the two you mentioned, I'm partial towards the Sapphire Pulse. I had the RX580 Pulse and was quite impressed with the build quality for the price.

Yes and no. It actually replaces your Rx 5700 bios to rx 5700 xt bios. But to unlock extra performance, your card needs to have good thermals to hit those numbers. Basically it's a bigger overclock of your Rx 5700 cards.

You could potentially get about 10-20% extra performance but do note that you throw power savings out of the window along with (much) noiser fans. Probably would be more effective if you use liquid cooling.
