lol I upgraded from 7770 to 5700xt..was using Powercolor 4870 before changing to Sapphire 7770 when 4870 died..

I swapped from 4870x2 to 5870 when x2 died within warranty but no replacement stock, 5870 is Sapphire too :o

PCT was selling at $629, quite a bit lower than b&h Facebook price of $660. I also asked dynacore, they were selling at $655.

Even as I bought other parts like mb & cpu, they only lowered my pulse price to $625, disc $4 haha. OK lah, $4 used to pay for my dinner at the food court downstairs lol. But even if I paid $629 its still the best price I found.

I don't know when next shipment pct or other shops will receive and whether price will stay the same. At $629,its $120 cheaper than the cheapest zotac 2070 super, that's significant for me.

Wonder if the non-ref 5700 XT will force Nvdia to lower their 2060 Super and 2070 Super prices? :s8:

oh yea i heard that some distro not getting 5700 pulse in due to price is very close to reference 5700xt..

Don't make sense to me. Same price it makes more sense to bring in Pulse since clearly people prefer better cooling solutions.

Is that like a downgrade ? Not worth it just for freesync.
I would rather spend the $ on a gsync compatible monitor.

That's my thought as well. Thus, have not been looking out for a 5700XT now.
