Looks like it's super close to the 8700k performance. https://elchapuzasinformatico.com/20...-7-2700x-x470/

No wonder they didn't bother releasing the 2800X. Also, they only tested it at 3200mhz RAM clocks while the coffee lakes had 3600mhz (not like thee ram clocks matter much for coffee lake though)

I wonder will users lose out a lot if to use Ryzen 2 with X370 instead of X470?

I'm more impressed by the 40W improvement over the Ryzen 1700 and of course, the RGB cooler . Glad that Ryzen can finally go toe-to-toe with Intel on games.

well most of the folks who purchase the latest and fastest cpus are poser gamers. So it does make sense since it is only a few cents more in cost.

Base on most reviewers souce is that it does comes with their coolers even with their X series.

The 1st gen K didn't. The 2nd gen K comes with RGB cooler.

And why would "most of the folks who purchase the latest and fastest cpus" not buy their own cooling solution?

Hence my conclusion at post #6
