Is the Ryzen 3 3400g graphics good enough for video editing?

Hi all,

I am looking to upgrade my computer and there is a lot of recommendations for the new Ryzen 3 3400g in this forum.

I don't play games. Mainly use the PC for work. The more heavy task I do includes photo editing, video editing, simple 3D modeling/rendering.

Is the Ryzen 3 3400g an overkill or the built-in graphics is not going to be sufficient for my applications?

It will work, but if you do it professionally a dedicated rendering card is best

have as much memory as possible 32gb or higher. dont not how intense your editing or frequency of editing. be prepared to spend a few k for professional video graphics. there was a review i came cross the diff is significant with these pro graphics card.

You will need to manage your expectations when using integrated graphics for anything heavy duty. Otherwise you won't find professional cards going for 4 digits and above.
