An external dac, amp or combo is far superior to sound cards.

you should probably consider an external dac rather than a pcie soundcard

Before you even consider any of these, make sure you have a good pair of speakers/headphones.

If not no matter how much u spend on dac/amp/sound card, everything is still gonna sound like crap.
