As per subject title. Price is solely for PC only, excluding peripherals.

Must haves for this build are:
RTX 2080
16GB ram
512GB SSD + 4TB HDD storage

I'm open to suggestions for the other components. Thanks for the help!

P.S. I understand that AMD Navi is on the horizon and Nvidia has also recently teased a new "super" lineup. Rumours are that these will be firmly mid-range cards, so it shouldn't affect my choice of the RTX 2080?

CPU+MB - 9700KF + GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI - $855 @ PCTheme
GPU - Palit RX 2080 - $1029 @ PcTheme
SSD: Adata XPG SX8200 Pro 512gb - $129 @ PcTheme
HDD: Seagate BARRACUDA $148 @ PcTheme
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G+ Gold - $130 @ Newegg or $142 @ TradePac
RAM: 2*8gb 3200mhz CL16 - $110-$120 @ Newegg

Pick a casing your liking.
Best air cooler is Noctua NH-D15 and it was tested (in controlled environment) to be also the best cpu cooler, better than any AIO. Don't know where got sell locally.

If want to reduce budget, can drop 9700KF to 9600K.

Almost end of May now. Might as well wait for AMD Ryzen 3000 series.
Buying Intel just no point.

Depending on your urgency, otherwise no harm waiting for the announcement of Ryzen 3rd gen at Computex (around next Tue) and see how it pan out.
