It's possible vendors at SLS got stock liao, even on price list, and are either selling now, or on release day itself. Just like how I'd gotten a Radeon VII first on the 9th of Feb, while others in US had to wait for the cards to be shipped to them from the 7th onward (the 7th in the US, around 8th SG). I see it listed at about 430SGD and up.....depending on brands, can assume that when Asus release that STRIX 1660 Ti, it'd prolly be the most ex.

Agree. In fact it makes more sense to get a GTX 1070 which seems better with 8GB of ram. I think it will depend on the pricing again. However, I would think it will cost in the 400+ region.

Then why even bother will be my next question. We can wait and see how it performs, but given the patterns in the past few release, I would expect this to perform may be slightly faster than a GTX 1070, but cost about the same. In this case, the GTX 1070 is a better buy simply because of the 2GB extra memory. While the memory bandwidth is lower on the 1070, it is not that far away.

Anyway, for example MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X is going for 439 at Lazada. Not sure if it is worthwhile getting the GTX 1660Ti if it cost about the same.
