From what I remember of previous new-generation launches, the old cards don't really drop much in price. The shops barely drop the price for the old-gen cards, and owners of used cards still continue to ask for unrealistic prices

I am waiting to upgrade my 1060.

If 3060 can 144FPS in 1080p,
I can upgrade to 3060 and 144Hz Monitor.

I'm waiting for it to build a new rig and will probably wait for Zen3 release to get all current gen parts

Still undecided on the 3070/3080 and the case....

Wait first.
Maybe 3060 will crush 2070.

Only if you are using Modular PSU with removable cables.
By right should be able to re-use.

You know how it works for PC Hardware
Buy later = better and cheaper.
You buy early u get to use early, but whether you utilize it enough to justify the early adopter price, this one you decide yourself.
