anyone?????????????

Bro, easier for you if you first check out the compatibility list on synology camera list, then check out the brands (Chinese manufacturers) and look for POE.

Other than that, its more like if someone owns both sinology and/or Chinese camera brand with POE then they can advise you.

Synology - Network Attached Storage (NAS)

the list does not say poe, very hard to filter...

No, what I mean is which brand is supported, then you visit the brand's website n look for POE models.

From there, choose the models u are keen and do a comparision

VStarcam?

I saw their online mayday promo this morning, pricing is good for T7835WIP (HD)
Hi Guys, I'm looking for a IPCAM to keep an eye on pets at home.
Which would you recommend? T7835WIP or T7838WIP
Whats the difference?

Hey geckoSG,

I have info for the wanscam HW0024 when I query the oem about ipcam. According to the paper spec; Pan:355°, Tilt: 90° No upright info at the moment until I get the set on my hand.

I saw specs tat wanscam ones r 90 degree on pan/tilt. Which means I cannot put cam on top of cupboard n view downwards. So wanna just verify tat point. It means i must mount upside down on wall or ceiling.

hi geckoSG and hardwarezone friends,

can i check with you what is the meaning of "Comes with Local PSB Safety Mark Power Adapter for Legal Use in Singapore" for this model VStarCam T7838WIP? Does it mean that this model VStarCam T7835WIP HD PnP IPCAM can't be used in Singapore? Is this model T7835WIP ok to use at home to monitor baby? thanks.

GeckoSG,

No information about the tilt angle but I sent it to upright end and downward end to see what is the greatest angle it can get. The upright went to end I will say the most is no more than 100 degree, judging from the position.

For the down angle, I will say likely not more than 210 degree, judging from its position.

Tats means the distributor supplies the PSB SAFETY MARK power adapter which is a MUST according to local law if they intend to sell the devices in Singapore in the shop or via online. I know the factory default power supply has no SAFETY MARK nor tested by the local agency for compliance.

So, legally. Who supplies the local psb approved ones r not infringing theblocal law, who did not risks being reported by consumers.

Tats what it means. Pricing add on is a major difference

Hi geckoSG,

The bracket hanger for the IPcam has angle to compensate the position. I think most of them can meet the demand unless you look for special requirement. I guess you don want to extend out the IPcam from the hanger.. It will a bit tough to look for such cam.
