For your budget of $350, i would rather you get a 2nd hand Shure Se535 which gives you the low,mid and highs drivers. You have the options to reshell or add more drivers in future. Your current budget only allows you to get the dual drivers which is kinda in mid of nowhere. I have been using my se535 since 2010 which the sound quality still sound like the day i first bought it,i recently reshell with AAW due to crack on the original shell and save cost on buying comply foams. Get a hi-res DAP with high quality FLACs, you can do away with amps.

Quick question, does any of the CIEMs in AAW's inventory have a sound sig which is on the brighter side of neutral? Or do I have to look elsewhere for this?

You'll probably want to look at Jomo for a treble tilt. AAW specialises more in low-end performance.
