AMP/DAC recommendation

I need help looking a AMP/DAC combo as i ordered the hifiman 350 from massdrop recently so looking for one to pair with it.

Might get the fostex th-x00 too in the future.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Depends on your budget sub S$1K per dac/amp:
  • For desktop, get the Grace Design x Massdrop m9XX DAC/Amp.
  • For portable, get the Chord Mojo.

These two dac/amp will keep you happy for a long while until you upgrade your headphones to higher end over S$2k.

Thanks for the recommendation!

However im wondering about the import tax as its over 500usd with shipping, so it will be an additional 7% on top of the total amout?

Another question, do i have to get a RCA adapter for the m9xx as my current speakers only have a 3.5mm jack if i wanna use my speakers and headphones concurrently?

Yes, you may have to pay GST based on the value.

For your speakers, you can use the line out (using a RCA to 3.5mm cable).
