Any thread on good earphones and headphones for sports

Hi guys,

Checked the stickies and first 5 pages and couldnt find any thread dedicated to earphones or headphones for those who listen to music while working out. Ask any gym goers and they only know beats headphone haha

For me im looking for 2 types.

Headphones with Bluetooth that matched both android and apple. So i can put my phone in the locker abt 20m away and get some music. Budget hopefully nothing more than 150. Abd something i can stuff into my gym bag. Battery life is not an issue as i workout less than 2 hrs each time and can charge over ny laptop at work. I enjoy heavy bass

Another type is waterproof that can go underwater which i can use for swimming. In other words, bluetooth again. Same pricing and requirements. Of course this one is earphone. No one is going to wear headphones while swimming lol.

Hope i got all the details clear. Would be great to have a thread on this cos i notice joggers, gym goers, swimmers, treadmill runners all have diff requirements

Majority of sports people are not using Beats headphone
even if they are they are either noob or idiots.
As Beats headphone are design for normal usage not for sports
and they are not water proof.

Most are using Sony Walkman Earpiece with build in memory
to store music so no need for your phone.

The downside of the Sony walkman earpiece is the limited memory of 8GB.
If you got a lot of songs than either reduce the file size to squeeze.
Alternate is this model:

However this model and like any other brand sports headphone
you can't swim with it unlike the above Sony walkman earpiece
which you can swim with it.

BT for what I know, depending on your phone BT version.
Safest range is up to 2m before it starts to disconnect or have problems.
20m is insane and that is wireless not BT.

BT is only up to 10 meters but again depend on the device BT version.
Alternate setup:
A small DAP like Sony Walkman A2X series with either a BT earpiece
or a backphone like Sennheiser neckband

No need to carry a bulky phone for exercise as the Walkman is quite small.
Hope this helps.
