Although my suggestion might not work, but it is worth a try -
Go to their CEE booth, then show interest in front of the promoter (choose the ones that don't look like a part-timer), then engage in conversations with him.

Try try abit, then give a worried face, saying the price a bit steep though you really wanna own it, but now month end haven't get pay yet so abit tight in budget.

If the discount is in the form of small paper printouts which you are supposed to bring to the cashier, then maybe the promoter will pass you a discount slip.

All this depends on your luck.

Cos the other time I went to one of the IT fairs and I was looking for an amplifier, then the Uncle just passed me a $50 discount slip to buy it. Without me having to achieve anything to qualify for that discount.

Good luck if you wanna give it a try!

Look at the big picture - 14hrs of usage until the next charge.
This is actually the selling point. Not the Super X-fi.

I believe without their app, the generic audio output should be decent enough.

How is the sound quality without the using of the SXFI App?

I was the first 5 to get it. I try the display set. Sound decent. I still prefer my Jabra Elite 65t. I got it at $139. I need to run off urgently. My set still at home unopen. But hor...the guy tell me no volume control on the ear piece. He wasn't sure and ask his senior. He still say no volume control. I try to figure it on the spot. Cannot find it. Those handphone that full blast still low volume may skip this. Tonight I try my set and see how.
I still find that the noise isolation is not as good as Jabra Elite 65t. I may need to change ear tips.

Press and hold the button on right ear bud to increase the volume

You can - you need to long press once on the right side to increase volume, long press once on left side to decrease. I also went to try them today at CEE and the sales people don't really know the product well at all. I got a pair as I thought the sound quality was great for the price, and the battery life is incredible.

I prefer the sound quality without the SXFI App effect. The SXFI on made my music sound weird and unpleasant. Very happy with sound quality on its own.

Also, there was a promo going on at CEE - if you spend over $150 at Creative and pay via e-Payment (Google Pay, etc.) you get a free Creative N100 Ultra Portable Speaker.

End month already. Less than $90 in my bank now. They should have held the exhibition at first weekend of the month =(

Speaking of which, I highly doubt Creative will be have a booth at next weekend's PC Show, which I heard will be held at Marina Bay Sands.
