Hey guys. new here.

Has anybody been using Sennheiser CX550 or CX95 ?
pretty hard to find here in Singapore, trying to get as much information as possible.
i checked out the stereo electronic website, but as usual, their stuff are not update imo..

so ya, i am aimming for these 2 as they received much good comments, review, remarks etc and best of all, they have a short main cable, which can go well with my Sony Ericsson HBH-205 ( blue tooth headset)

if there are other good earphone with short main cable can recommend to me ?? thanks guys !

maybe you can try Audio Technica CKM50.. very good for its price IMO..

nah.. i am a mobile phone, music person.
i use Sony Ericsson Walkman series phone as my source.

FYI, cx300 - asymmetrical cable
cx400- short main cable w extension
cx500- long cable with inbuilt volume control.

currently using the short adaptor with philips SHS 8000, a damn good earhook earphone at $30. its meant for sports and i love the durability and the build quality. used it for 6 mths and no complains.
ok la, the noise isolation isn't as good as the sennheiser, so is the bass, but for running, its sufficient.

got a SE hbh205 bluetooth headset as birthday last year. i feel that its one of the best thou, with A2DP support, bluetooth 2.0... relatively super light weight.. small, inbuilt clip.. 8hrs music play time..
ya.
so i need a earphone with short main cable or it will be troublesome using the Smartcord wire manager, i got it when i bought the crossroad's mylar earphone. its useful, but its troublesome to untie and tie it again when jogging. and SE's comes-with earphone doesn't suit my taste..

and as a sennheiser fan.. i only left with 3 choices.
Sennheiser cx 400, cx95 and cx550. all with short main cable.
called stereo electronics and heard that they have not been selling those..
gonna try jaben, den sim lim, then the IT fair.
but i found a seller for cx400 at $75 thou, gonna see whether i can find cx95 or cx550 from the other 3 sources. still prefer buying from a company.. gt warranty, as there are many fakes around the market =/.

Since you're gonna get sennheisers. My piece of advice is buy ONLY from shops. Sennheiser said that their products should ALL have the 2 years warranty logo AND warranty card. This two items online sellers simply can't provide. So real or not u decide but for me it's 100% fake, at most identical built and audio quality.

There's quite a number of sellers for these sennheiser also, they would tell you they get from liquidation sales/export thus no warranty etc. and tell you their cousin/uncle is a worker in sennheiser to buy ur confidence.

Agree totally.... my friend also kanna con .... the packing is EXACTLY the same. And Fakes are like A1 grade copy. But bass was out of control. If you have a genuine one side by side, you tell immediately.

Didn't know how serious the counterfeit issue has been.

I am planning to get either Sennheiser CX500, or Sennheiser IE7 if the price is attractive. Importing from UK will be much cheaper though-- about $100 cheaper. Let's hope the price will fall further.
