to make your iem last longer, most importantly would be to take care of it.

keep it in a pouch or box.
when you keep it, coil it around 3 fingers and not your player.
when removing the earpiece, dont pull on the wire but hold the housing then take it out.

I always remove the IEMs and coil it before putting it in the pocket tgt with my phone. :l

Find keeping IEMs in a pouch too troublesome.

pouch reduces the damage in case it hits something ma.
but up to you ah.

had bad experience with ajays(wiring) so wont recommend it.
can try sennheiser cause they got 2 years warranty. :)

Friendly reminder!

Do very much appreciate for those looking for recommendations to do it in the following format. For sifus helping out, do consider the needs of the request instead of just making statements.

- Your rig (mp3 players, amps, soundcard etc)
- What type of usage (movies/ gaming/ music etc)
- File format used in your source (i.e. flac, mp3 etc)
- Genre of music you listen to (classical, jazz, metal, etc)
- Headphone / earphone type (closed, open, cirumaural, IEM etc)
- Other requirements (if any) (mic, volume control, 5.1ch, 7.1ch etc)
- Budget (in figures)

rig (DAC MagicPlus & Forte 7.1(abandoned)
- What type of usage ( PC [movies & Games] )
- File format used in your source (Movies [Bluray])
- Genre of music you listen to -
- Headphone / earphone type (Head phone)
- Other requirements (if any) (5.1ch or 7.1ch) does it really exist for Headphone
- Budget 300-400

Just abandoned my forte 7.1 as my 7 years old 5.1 sony home theater up lorry liaoz.
Decided to make my room neater and clear all the messy wiring in my bedroom. Now having to a 2.0 speaker pairing with dacmagic plus on my PC. Sound from music (Mp3 & Flac) is an upgrade as compare to my old setup.

However i miss the surround effects when i'm watching blurays.
Greatly appreciate if some Sifus here can gimme some recommendation on a headphone that is good for movies and games.

I'm currently using sennheiser's cx400ii and have been using them for about 2 years. Had the AKG K321 before using these. I'm looking to upgrade. I need something for traveling and home usage. I was thinking about getting either Shure's SE215 or Yamaha's EPH-100 but I'm open to better suggestions ! :)

- Your rig: iPod classic and iphone
- What type of usage: Generally music, occasionally movies
- File format used in your source: Mp3
- Genre of music you listen to: I listen to pretty much anything, from Kpop to R&B, alternative and electro...
- Headphone / earphone type: IEM
- Budget: $200-350

Thanks in advance!! :)

You may want to consider the Munitio Billets.
