the problem with an ifi setup is that you need a crapload of interconnects

the minimalism is ruined TBH

want tube sound should just go straight for woo audio WA7 fireflies , should cost around the same or less than a full ifi setup
this.
reminds me of a similar musical fidelity tube I owned years ago.

I prefer discrete setups

So this works more like a pre-amp ?

One of the diagram in the earlier post shows the iTube connected to a turntable.
How efficient is this for pre-amping a phono input ??
I'm not sure if I get you right but are you asking about the gain on the iTube? The iTube has a 0dB and 6dB gain switch underneath the set but the job is best left for the "phono amp" which is connected to the turntable. If your current phono amp lacks gain, you can consider the iFi iPhono.

Thanks for the clarification.
Yeah my bad, was actually looking at the iPhono thingy.

So, is Stereo selling the iFi iPhono as well, and what is the SRP/RRP ?
(Don't mind can also PM me.)

The iFi iPhono goes for $529 and we offer a 7 days money back policy so you can test the unit at the comfort of your home on your turntable.
