Hmmm I don't know if I have ear wax inside or not but I used to use those cotton buds to dig... Then ppl say those will end up pushing the wax in instead although I normally put them in in the centre then push against the side of my ear and then pull out... Not sure if that'll do it but I'd definitely am thinking of doing earwax cleaning one day, though I don't even know if my ears are dirty or not.,

what is the price range like for ear wax removal at clinic?

Aye, I'd really like to know too. My customs coming in a couple of weeks, and after reading this, I'm starting to think that I should go have my ears cleaned out before they come...

That is really the truth, for one if you are digging yourself you won't know what's the actual limit to dig and probably most of us are just scrapping at the hole while the big chunks are laughing at the ear pick... :s13:

An update: Just went for syringing at a gp near my house. Manage to remove only the right side as my left ear's still too sticky. And you cannot imagine the size of it. It was one hella big chunk

@Koelsch: Nahh, I'll probably go to a GP, more convenient.
@M.Eddy: How much was it? and do you really just go there, and tell the GP "Hi, I think my ears are very dirty, can help me clean?"

Err. You can say that :s13: or you just tell them your ears are blocked and need some treatment. Surely treatment sounds nicer than cleaning :s13:

Err I paid 25 per ear. If you had hard wax before you used audiclean then you might wanna get your ears checked out as audiclean does not clean out the hard wax properly.

I don't know how to check. I only knew when the audiologist told me after failing to get my impressions done because of it.

If you are staying at the west, you can try Dr WK Koo and Associates in Jurong Point.

I did it once about 1 1/2 years ago. You need to apply ear drops for 1 week before the actual cleaning. Besides digging out the wax, they also pump a solution into your ear to clean out all the debris.

The feeling is sensational, to say the least. You can feel that your ear is totally clean.

I do not know the costs involved, as it is charge to my company at that time.
