Recommended earphones to replace ep-630?

Hi I'm rather noob with earphones and any type of hardware actually. Previous user of EP-630 but I've had enough of it breaking down on me. I think I've changed like 4-6 sets in the past 2 years alr.

Basically I liked everything about the EP-630 other than the fact it spoils so fast (or maybe I'm not taking care of them well enough?). Can anyone recommend me something with more durability and equal sound quality? Budget around $100? So far I've only heard of the Ne7?

P.S. If it matters I listen mainly to rap music.

The breakdown for crossroads quattro probably will be double of the Creative. I've got a EP630 for the a year and it's still working perfectly fine. Could it be the way you handle and keep the earphones?

You'll need to move up to more durable IEM like SF3 or UM1.
At the very least, they provide you some warranty at least you can protect your investment.

I have been using my Ep 630 for almost a year, no probs,

i believe u need to go through the lessons on 'how to take care of your electronic gadgets aka earphones' before u get better ones.

If not, its like throwing money into ocean..

damienloh, Sony earphones are always overpriced for the sound quality they offer.

Quattro sounds rather muffled to me not sure if you would consider it an upgrade, plus the break down rate of previous batches are quite a turn off. Around $100 you can also try Denon, Westone UM1 is a great choice for upgrade though, very durable.
