Shure SE315 vs SE215

Hi all,

What is the sound quality difference between 315 and 215?
Am considering between 2 models. Is there any on par IEMs to 215?
TDK BA200? TDK IE800? UE600vi?
I am more into vocal, with a little bass but not too much. Looking for something that can provide a wide range of genre.

Thanks!

Hi TS, the SE215 features a dynamic driver which technically would sound more bass heavy as compare to the SE315 which features a balanced armature. The SE215 might be more towards what you are looking for.

When I compared it with the UE600, the 315 don't have that much sibilance as compared to the UE600. Would prefer that when I listen to J-Pop and K-Pop.

on the contrary, if just single out the vocals dun consider the rest, imo the se215 has a fuller, more intimate and emotional vocals (female) making the ba200 hollow-ish sparklish sig can stand one side. that was with the blue se215. had that and the ba200 for awhile. but if consider overall, both i also dun like

How about a Fitear F111?

Jokes aside, TDK BA200 is like a smooth talker. Laid back and enjoy kind. The mid feels thin, little on bass and trebles pretty just nice. Kinda love it till I met F111.
