Some questions about IEM

I am totally noob in IEM.

I changed to spinfit tip cause the comply tip I felt too bassy. Are there any better tips out there I can try too?

Is is normal for IEM to be so sharp sounding for few days till its burnt in?

I endured the sharpness for 3 days... it's so sharp that it gives me headache
I just left it aside and let my player run and let it burnt in... sounds smoother now after 3 days, still a bit sharp at some high pitch sounds

Lastly 1 silly question...
Does headphones accustom to the sound you prefer if you use songs you often listen to, to burn in??

You should try them at the shop, the iem would hv been burn in enough for you to listen to the result.

And no, the headphone doesn't accustom to the your music.

High pitch, harsh & fatigue all are can't be changed much, just adjust from EQ equalizer would help.. Otherwise you may throw a side,...cause I have sensitive treble too

It's more like you get used to the sharp sound instead of the IEMs got burnt in.

I will let it run whole night somewhere instead of listening. Gradually increase the volume.

I listen maybe less than 2-3 hours per day.

I think it probably wears out the electronics

I think if TS find it sibilant, then better stop listening to it rather than trying to get used to it as I think it will hurt your ears in the long run

If you believe in burn in that much you shouldn't really invest this much in audio tbh

The thing I did very wrong is changing to Spinfit tip.

The Comply tip actually cuts down on the sibilant, while the Spinfit makes it sharper.

My Fiio X5 2nd alone drives my V-Moda XS with Silver Dragon cable well but it is not able to fully drive the Ocharaku well, it runs better with my E11K amp on. Strange~

With only Fiio X5 2nd, the vocal sounds quite backwards and the vocal comes with some noises and not clear. Instruments are ok though.

Now I am looking for an Amp or player that can drive it.

tbh you should audition and buy an IEM that sounds good with your source..

I was on a short trip to Japan so a bit rush~

Using the amp I managed to achieve similar sound signature as my headphones but much more clarity.
