Confirmed with ConnectIT.

They only received 10 units for this shipment
Ah I knew it. My previous enquiry to them was whether if they are able to fulfill my order in the Sept batch. Because I remb when they release the 10% discount coupon, the amount of orders surge quite abit. I was abit paranoid if ConnectIT will able to fulfill all the Sept batch or not based on how it became oos around whole island. Sony has to restock everyone of them including their own and the upcoming Comex.(not sure if they saved some stocks for Comex)

In view of the one month waiting list, I managed to snag one set for myself in Malaysia for RM949 ($315) since I was here on business anyway. Comes with international warranty so no worries if got any problem down the road.

PS: Airport terminal selling for $326 GST-free but no stock.

Either Sony is artificially limiting stock for the WFs or they are just flying off the shelves, the Americans are also having difficulties finding ready stock on these, even on Amazon.

I think Sony underestimate how good their earbuds are, considering all previous offerings didn't sell much at all.
Happy for Sony though.

Does this mean you can register your set with Sony SG website?

Haven’t try. It’s a tourist warranty which is accepted by Sony Singapore

the WFs are a surefire hit. ANC works well and these actually sound good (unlike the fullsize XM3s with it's awfully flabby bass). Fit is always going to be subjective, for earbuds, but once you dial that in, they're awesome.

Very happy with my pair.

Sony has a tourist warranty system, foreigners who buy from SG can get that as well. I'm guessing it has to be from an authorised dealer's physical store though.

Q1: What is the TLW (Tourist Limited Warranty)?
The TLW is a warranty that is issued* to customers at the point of purchase when they purchase selected products out of their country/area of residence.* Please see Q2.

Q2: Who issues the TLW?
The TLW is issued by selected authorised dealers in selected countries/areas. Please contact the Customer Interaction Centre for the most updated information.

It’s a tourist warranty. Available to you as long as you ask for it. Mostly from official Sony stores which I bought mine from.

In Singapore it’s serviced by “Sony Singapore Marketing Company” as listed on their website. Don’t matter you believe it or not. No loss to either of us. +1.
