Exclamation Westone ES cable for T.fi 10pro

Hi my T.fi 10 has sone cable problems I need to get a new one as it doesn't have any warranty left on it. I heard a lot about the westone es cables, interested in the black coloured one.

Where can I get them for the best price? Heard that the wire connector is slightly bigger than the UE ones, any pre-filed ones?

Other than the westone es cable any other to recommend at that price range?

i got mine installed at Stereo, they will file the pin connectors for an additional fee.

Jaben should also have the same service, i'm not exactly sure.

sq-wise es2 is much better than the current UE stock cable but i just feel the Y joint of the cable is abit too near the drivers. It's sort of uncomfortable..
I'm surprised no one ever mentioned so..

what i heard abt the es cable is that it's very soft and flexible lei. Worth the while to change. But the new version of ultimate ear cable are much softer also lei.

Depends on the length, price ranges from $66 - $70+ for a Westone ES2 wire. We charge another $8 for filing job and all pins are applied with Silclear (pure silver contact enhancer, http://www.stereo.com.sg/store/produ...roducts_id=767) to protect the pins and ensure maximum conductivity.

Be warn that there are lookalike Westone ES2 wire sold in the market for the real deal, the genuine version should have the "Westone" brand printed on the splitter of wire itself.

are you thinking of osmosis/diffusion? after swapping the cables around the default cables will imbibe some properties of the ES and vice versa

A number of people on headfi who used the ES8 cable said there is no improvement or degradation of sound quality at all.

Westone ES cable? I just got mine changed @ Stereo, filing done by Stereo, and guess what, one of the pin connecting to the monitor, right side, actually broke and stucked inside the monitor now.
